Welcome to the NIS website! I am so proud to call Namur School my home base! We have a dynamic group of staff and students leading a Pre-Kindergarten to Secondary 2 school that focuses on our motto: Participation, Perseverance, and Respect. Students are encouraged to get involved not only in their academics but in the various activities and volunteer opportunities available. We believe that perseverance is a quality every student should work towards. Learning to take risks, try new challenges, and re-group when faced with adversity can be difficult but with the right attitude and support system, anything is possible. Respect is the foundation for all good work and play! We work at creating a safe place for students to grow and learn as young citizens!
We offer academic support and an inclusive education model as we assist each and every student in reaching their full potential. There are intra-mural activities and clubs available for students’ interests. Nestled in the heart of “La Petite Nation”, we are fortunate to have the outdoor space to offer many activities throughout the seasons: snowshoeing, skiing, cross-country running, skating, softball, soccer to name a few. We are also very lucky to have a parent committee to organize many special events through the school year to keep school spirit at its best! A great school at which to learn and grow!!
